Control Buttons:
Function Button: Left button with ||
Select Button: Middle button with <|>
Read Button: Big right button with circle and a slash
Turning the Pager On:
1. Press the Read Button. The pager will alert
Receiving and Reading your Message:
1. A flashing symbol indicates you have a message that has
not been read. Press the Select Button to select the message you
want to read. The arrow symbol indicates the location of the message
2. Press the Read Button to display your message
3. Press the Read Button once to view the next screen
4. Press the Select Button once to see the next message
NOTE: If you have your pager set on "Auto Scroll," your
pager will scroll through messages screen by screen automatically.
Locking Messages:
1. Press the Select Button to move the cursor to the select
the message you would like to save
2. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until ""MESSAGE
LOCK" is displayed
3. Press the Menu Button to lock message
4. A lock icon is displayed indicating the message is locked in
the memory
Unlocking Messages:
1. Press the Select Button to the message you would like to
unlock
2. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "MESSAGE
UNLOCK" is displayed
3. Press the Menu Button to unlock message
Deleting Messages:
1. Press the Select Button to move the cursor to the message
you want to delete
2. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "DELETE"
is displayed
3. Press the Menu Button. "DELETE?" is displayed
4. Press the Select Button to delete the message
Deleting All Messages (all unlocked and read messages):
1. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "DELETE
ALL" is displayed
2. Press the Menu Button. "DELETE ALL? " is displayed
3. Press the Select Button to delete messages
Moving Message to Memo:
1. Press the Select Button to the message you want to move
2. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "MOVE
TO MEMO" is displayed
3. Press the Menu Button to move the message to the memo space
Setting the Alert:
1. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "SET
ALERT" is displayed
2. Press the Menu Button for the Alert Menu
3. Press the Select Button to move between Alert / Musical / Vibration
/ Sleep
4. Press the Select Button to listen to or feel the alert
5. Press the Read Button to choose the alert
Turning the Pager Off:
1. Press the Menu Button then the Select Button until "PAGER
OFF" is displayed
2. Press the Menu Button and "PAGER OFF?" is displayed
3. Press the Select Button to turn the pager off
Setting the Alarm (5 Alarms):
1. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "SET
ALARM" is displayed
2. Press the Menu Button for Alarm Mode
3. Press the Menu Button to move through each alarm
4. Press the Select Button to move to the second field and press
the Menu Button to turn alarm on/off
5. Press the Select Button to move to next field and the Menu Button
to select the hour
6. Continue the previous steps until all fields are complete
7. Press the Read Button when complete
Setting the Time and Date:
1. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "SET
TIME" is displayed
2. Press the Menu Button to enable set time
3. Press the Select Button to move between fields and the Menu Button
to change fields
4. Continue until all fields are complete (AM/PM/24 Hour/ Month/Day/Hour/Minute)
5. Press the Read Button when complete
Setting Scroll:
1. Press the Menu Button and then the Select Button until "SET
SCROLL" is displayed
2. Press the Menu Button
3. Press the Menu Button to move through choices:
X – manual scroll
_ - slow scroll
_ _ - medium scroll
_ _ _ - fast scroll
4. Press the Select Button when desired speed is chosen
Back light:
You can manually activate the back light at any time by pressing
and holding the Read Button for three seconds. If no other buttons
are pressed, the back light automatically turns off when the pager
returns to the standby mode. |
