Turning Your Pager On
Silent Mode: Slide the On/Off switch in an upward direction to the SILENT symbol. The pager vibrates for 4 seconds
ON Mode: Slide the On/Off switch in an upward direction to the ON symbol. The pager emits an interrupted beep for 4 seconds

Turning on the Light
1. Press the On/Off switch to turn on the back light for easy viewing in low light conditions

Setting the Time
1. Press the Black Button until "SET TIME" is displayed then press the Gray Button. The hours digit begins to blink.
2. Set the hours by pressing the Gray Button until the correct hour is displayed along with the appropriate "A" for AM or "P" for PM. Keep pressing the Gray Button to cycle through the hours from AM to PM. When the correct hour is displayed, press the Black Button to advance to the minutes digits.
3. The first digit of the minutes begins to blink. Press the Gray Button to change the first digit of the minutes. Press the Black Button to advance to the second digit of the minutes. Press the Gray Button to change the second digit of the minutes. Press the Black Button one more time to leave the time setting function.
4. All portions of the time-of-day screen, except the colon stop blinking. The clock is now set and the pager is in the standby mode.

Receiving and Reading Your Messages
When a message is received, the pager gives an audible or vibrate alert for 8 seconds. The number of unread messages is displayed. The alert automatically stops, or you can reset the pager by pressing any of its buttons.
1. The first screen of your message is displayed. To "freeze" your message, press and hold the Gray Button while viewing it. The pager automatically advances to the next screen of the message, or you can view it by pressing the Gray Button.
2. The screen following your message is the time stamp screen. It shows the time the message was received and the message slot number (the order that the message was received)

Locking and Unlocking a Message
Up to 5 messages can be locked in memory
1. To lock a message, press the Black Button while the message or timestamp screen is displayed. A lock symbol is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
2. To unlock a message, follow the procedure to lock it. The lock symbol disappears from the message and timestamp screens.

Erasing Messages
The "ERASE ALL" function deletes all read, unsaved messages from memory.
1. Press the Black Button until "ERASE ALL" is displayed, then press the Gray Button. All read, unlocked messages are removed

NOTE: You must read a message before it can be erased
