DIGITAL PAGING "HIT" PAGER INSTRUCTIONS

Buttons:
Read/Select Button: Small button on right, used to turn the pager on,
Display messages, and select pager functions.
Scroll Button: Large button on left, used to scroll through menu.

Turning Your Pager On:
Press any button for three seconds. You will hear a long beep confirming that the pager is on.
Turning Your Pager Off:
Press the big button until "OFF?" is displayed, then press the small button. The standby screen, when off, will show the time in the top half of the screen.

Receiving Messages:
When a message is received, the pager will alert (vibration, audible, or visualized) for 8 seconds. When the received messages are retrieved, the number of messages will show on the screen ("2 PAGES", or "1 PAGE").
When an arrow is showing in the bottom right hand corner of the page, it means that the page is more than 12 characters in length. Press the small button to view the rest of the characters.

Reading Messages:
After or during the alert, press the small button to read the message.

Setting the Time:
Press and release the big button until "T SET?" is displayed. Press the small button and the digits will begin to flash. Set the correct hour, then press big button. The big button will advance you to the minutes digits.

Setting the Alerts:
Vibrate: From the standby screen, press and release big button until display reads "SILENT?" then press and release small button.
Tone Alert: From the standby screen, press and release big button until display reads "TONE?" then press and release small button until you hear the tone of your choice.

Setting the Alarm:
Press big button until "ALARMSET?" is displayed. Then press small button to set time.
Turning the alarm off:
Press the big button until "ALARM OFF?" is displayed, then press the small button.

Locking/Unlocking Messages:
You can protect/lock up to 12 messages so they are not erased or replaced by new messages.
Locking:
1. Press small button to select message.
2. Press and hold small button, then press and release big button. When a padlock appears on the screen, it is indicating that your message is protected.
Unlocking:
1. While the message is displayed, press and hold small button then press big button until the padlock has disappeared .Deleting Messages:
Press and release big button until "ERASE ALL?" is displayed, then press and release small button. All read and unlocked messages will be erased from memory and all locked messages will remain in memory.
