NEC EXECUTIVE INSTRUCTIONS

Buttons
There are three control buttons, two push buttons are located on the front of the pager and one slide switch located on the right side of the pager.

Battery Replacement
Your pager uses one "AAA" battery. To install the battery:
1. Slide the battery cover latch into its unlock position.
2. Remove the battery cover by sliding in the direction of the arrow on the cover.
3. Install the Battery into the battery compartment. Make sure the positive contact of the battery corresponds to the (+) marking on the inside of the battery compartment.

Turning Your Pager On and Off
Turning Your Pager On:
Slide the switch on the side of the pager down. Your pager will display all screen segments and your current alert will sound or vibrate. The display will automatically reset to the standby clock display.
Turning Your Pager Off:
Slide the switch on the side of the pager up and the pager will be turned off.

Setting Your Message Alerts
You can set your pager to alert you with one of 4 alerts. The alerts will sound or vibrate anytime the pager is turned on or when a message is received.

BEEP 1 Beep tone.
BEEP 2 Musical Tones (4)
BEEP 3 2 Short Tones and Vibrating Alert
--------- Vibrating Alert

1. Press the Bottom Button once. "SET 1" will be displayed
2. Press the Top Button to set alert. The current alert will be displayed
3. Press and release the Bottom Button until the alert you’ve chosen is displayed
4. Press the Top Button. You will return to the standby screen

Receiving Messages
When your pager receives a message, it will alert you with either a tone or vibrate depending one which alert option is selected.
1. Press either of the two buttons to stop the alert. Your message will be displayed
2. A time stamp telling you what time the message was received will be displayed in the left corner 2 seconds after the message appears
3. If your message is more then 12 digits long the message continued indicator will appear on the bottom left corner. Press and release the Top Button to display the rest of the message

NOTE: If you do not stop the alert when receiving a message, "CALL" will be displayed. This indicates you have unread messages in memory.

Setting the Clock
1. Press the Bottom Button until "SET 3" appears with the flashing time in the bottom right corner
2. Press the Top Button and "12H 24H" will be displayed with the current choice flashing. Press and release the Bottom Button until the desired selection is flashing
3. Press the Top Button and the time will be displayed with the hour flashing.
4. Press the Bottom Button until the correct hour is displayed
5. Press the Top Button and the minutes will flash. Press the Bottom Button until correct minutes are selected.
6. Press the Top Button, the time will flash. Press the Tom Button to set the time and return to the standby screen

Setting the Alarm
1. Press the Bottom Button until "SET 2" is displayed
2. Press the Top Button "ON OFF" appears with the current selection flashing
3. Press the Bottom Button to change the selection and press the Top Button to select
4. The time begins flashing in the bottom right corner. Press the Bottom Button to set the hour
5. Press the Top Button to select and move to the minutes. Press the Bottom Button to choose minutes
6. Press the Top Button to select and the hours and minutes will flash.
7. Press the Top Button to set the alarm and return to the standby screen

Protecting and Deleting Messages
Protecting Messages:
1. Press the Top Button to display the message to be protected
2. Press the Bottom Button and "PROTECT" will be displayed
3. Press the Top Button and the message will be protected in memory. A key symbol will be displayed when viewing the message.
Deleting Messages:
1. Press the Top Button to display the message you want to delete
2. Press the Bottom Button twice and "DELETE" will be displayed
3. Press the Top Button and "DELETED" will appear. The message is now deleted from memory.
