Buttons
Menu Button: Button on left labeled "M"
Read/Select Button: Second button from the left labeled "_"
Scroll Buttons: Two right buttons labeled "_" and "_"

Turning Your Pager On and Off
1. Press and hold down the M Button until the pager either beeps or vibrates
2. The display will automatically reset. The pager is now ready to receive messages
Turning Your Pager Off
1. Press and hold down the M Button "MODE 1" or "MODE 2" and "PRESS M TO TURN OFF" is displayed with a single beep.
2. Press the M button again and "PAGER OFF" will be displayed with a single beep. Your pager will automatically turn off.

Selecting Alerts
You can choose for a variety of 14 different call alert options. With the two alert modes ("MODE 1" and "MODE 2") you can select your two favorite alerts and activate either one simply.

1. BEEP (Single or Dual)
2. Musical (8 Melodies)
3. Chirp w/ vibration
4. Chirp
5. Vibration
6. Silent

1. Press the M Button from the standby screen. The menu screen will be displayed
2. Move the highlight with the Up and Down Arrows to "SET ALERTS" and press the Read/Select Button to select.
3. "1:MODE-1" will be highlighted. Press the Up and Down Arrows to view "2:MODE-2." Press the Read/Select Button to select the mode alert you want to change.
4. You can now choose one of the 6 alerts. Press the Up and Down Arrows to step through the options. Press the Read/Select Button to select.
5. If you select either "BEEP" or "MUSICAL" alerts, press the Up or Down Arrows to step through the additional options, then press the Read/Select Button.
6. Press the M Button to exit

Receiving Messages
1. When your pager receives a message, it will alert you with either a tone or will vibrate (depending on which alert option you have selected), and display the incoming message
2. Press and button to stop the alert. Press the Down Arrow to view additional screens. Press the Read/Select Button to return to the standby screen
3. The message assigned the number "1" is always the most recent message received. If there are additional messages in memory, their assigned number is incremented by one to indicate their new position in the memory.
4. If you do not reset the pager when you receive a message "CALL RECEIVED" will be displayed. Press any button to display the message.
Protecting and Unlocking Messages
You can protect important messages in memory and you can delete unwanted messages either individually or all at once.

Protecting Messages:
1. Display the message to be protected
2. Press the M Button and "1:PROTECT?" will be displayed on the bottom of the screen.
3. Press the Read/Select Button 2 times to select "1:PROTECT?" The protect "Key" symbol will be displayed indicating the message is now protected

Unlocking Messages:
1. Display the protected message
2. Press the M Button and "1:UNPROTECT" will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
3. Press the Read/Select Button 2 times to unlock the message

Deleting Messages
1. Display the message to be deleted
2. Press the M button and "1:PROTECT?" will be displayed
3. Press either the Up or Down Button once and "2:DELETE" will be displayed
4. Press the Read/Select Button 2 times to delete the message

Deleting All Messages
You can delete all messages stored in memory
1. Press the M button from the standby screen. The menu screen will be displayed
2. Move the highlight with the Up or Down Arrow to "DELETE ALL" and press the Read/Select Button to select
3. "1:EDIT?" will be highlighted. Press the Up or Down Arrow to change "2:DELETE?"
4. Press the M Button or Read/Select Button to delete all messages and exit the menu

Setting Alarms
This feature allows you to program 3 different types of alarms. Date Alarm, Weekly Alarm, Daily Alarm, and up to 6 alarm settings at any time.
1. Press the M Button from the standby screen. The menu screen will be displayed
2. Move the highlight with the Up or Down Arrow to "SET ALARMS" and press the Read/Select Button to select
3. Press the Up or Down Button to step through the 6 programmable alarms. Press the Read/Select Button to select the alarm for programming
4. The highlight will now flash in the "ALARM TURN ON" field. Press the Up or Down Arrow to step through the 4 alarm selections. Press the Read/Select Button to select one of the alarms:

Empty Box – No Alarm Set
Box with * - Daily Alarm
Box with X – Weekly Alarm
Box with O – Date Alarm

5. The highlight will move to the hour. Press the Up or Down Arrow to display the hours and press the Read/Select Button to select the correct hour. Follow this same procedure to set the minutes
6. The "1:EDIT?" option will now be highlighted. To select the current alarm message, press the M Button 2 times to return to the menu screen
7. To change the alarm message press the Read/Select Button when the highlight is on the "1:EDIT?" option
8. The first character or space is now highlighted. Press the Read/Select Button to select the character location and the Up or Down Arrow to step through the character selections
9. When you have the correct character highlighted, press the Read/Select Button to select that character. The highlight will then move to the next character location. Follow this same procedure to edit your message
10. Press the M button to exit

Setting the Silent Period
You can select a period of day or night in which the pager will not alert you while receiving a message.
1. Press the M Button from the standby screen. The menu screen will be displayed
2. Move the highlight with the Up or Down Arrow to "SET SILENT PERIOD" and press the Read/Select Button to select
3. Either "YES" or "NO" will have the highlight flashing in the "ACTIVATE?" field. Move the highlight to "YES" by pressing either the Up or Down Arrow. Press the Read/Select Button to select "ACTIVATE YES"
4. The hour will be highlighted in the "START TIME" field. To change the hour, press the Read/Select Button then the Up or Down Arrow. To select the hour press the Read/Select Button. Follow this same procedure to change the minutes, and to set the "STOP TIME" hours and minutes
5. Press the M Button to exit

Setting the Clock
When the pager is in standby mode, the day, date and time (12 or 24 hours) are displayed
1. Press the M Button from the standby screen. The menu screen will be displayed.
2. Move the highlight with the Up or Down Arrow to "CLOCK" and press the Read/Select Button to select
3. The highlight will be flashing on the hour. Press the Up or Down Button to change the hour and then press the Read/Select Button
4. Follow the same steps to change the minutes
5. The "12" or "24" will be highlighted. Press the Up or Down Arrow to change the option and press the Read/Select Button
6. You can now choose the year, month, date and turn the clock display on or off. Use the Up or Down Arrows to change the options and then press the Read/Select Button to select.
7. When all selections are complete, press the M Button to exit

Auto Scroll Selection
You can automatically view your message at various speeds by pressing and holding the Down Button
1. Press the M Button from the standby screen. The menu screen will be displayed
2. Move the highlight with the Up or Down Button to "AUTO SCROLL" and press the Read/Select Button to select
3. One of the 4 selections will highlight for the Auto Scroll time:
Manual
Slow – 10 seconds per screen
Medium – 8 seconds per screen
Fast – 4 seconds per screen
4. Use the Up or Down Arrows to step through the selections
5. Press the M Button to Read/Select Button and exit the menu

LCD Contrast
You can adjust the contrast of the LCD Display
1. Press the M Button from the standby screen. The menu screen will be displayed
2. Move the highlight with the Up or Down Button to "LCD CONTRAST" and press the Read/Select Button to select
3. Press the Up or Down Arrow to adjust the contrast on the screen
4. Press the M Button or Read/Select Button to select and exit the menu
